A tour from Bishkek to Bishkek, following the mountains on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul. Cycle approx. 80 km per day, in total 1200-1300 km in two weeks.
Day 1-3: | Arrival, preparation and acclimatization, from Bishkek (altitude 800m) to Burana Tower, along Boom canyon (altitude 1400m), to Lake Issyk-Kul. To the rock-inscriptions of Cholpon-Ata, along the Kungey Ala-Too Range (north-side of Lake Issyk Kul). |
Day 4-6: | Next over the San Tash Pass (altitude 2300m), to Karakara river and valley (altitude 2500m), over the Kyzyl Moynok Pass, altitude near 3200m, to Echkili Tash (altitude 2900m). |
Day 7-9: | Go up to cross the Chon Ashuu Pass (3822m), after down to Turgeng valley and to the town of Karakol and the valley and full day of sightseeing in Karakol. |
Day 10-12: | Via the southside of Issyk Kul Lake, and along the Terskey Ala-Too, to the villages Tosor, Barskoon, Bokonbaevo, into the direction of Son Kul Lake. |
Day 13-15: | From Son Kul Lake down to Sary Bulak, to Boom canyon and further to Bishkek. |
